Since ACHA's emerging research program launched in 2019, we have invested more than $600,000 to fund 20 research investigations specifically focused on adult congenital heart disease (ACHD). In fact, ACHA is the only national nonprofit organization focusing solely on ACHD research.
During the symposium (full agenda below), we will share some exciting results, including what happens after the research is funded and the grants are complete. We will discuss what we have learned about the research that we have funded—and outcomes from the research. We look forward to hearing about how researchers are utilizing what they have learned in their clinics and about any findings that were unexpected.
