The ACHA Michigan Regional Conference is a dynamic partnership between the Adult Congenital Heart Association and the Congenital Heart Center at Spectrum Health Helen DeVos Children's Hospital. We invite patients, family members, friends and healthcare professionals to learn about specialized lifelong care for adults with congenital heart disease (ACHD) and to connect with the ACHD community. You will have the opportunity to listen and learn from experts in adult congenital heart disease.
Please join us on Saturday, October 8, 2022. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. and the program is from 8:45 a.m. until 4 p.m. Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Registration for patients, family members, and friends for this event is $25. If you register before September 29, 2022, you will receive a $5 discount to the conference. Registration at the door is $50.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
ACHA recommends that all attendees be over the age of 18. Anyone between the ages of 13 and 18 must be accompanied by a parent. Children under the age of 13 will not be admitted.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
The Prince Center, on the campus of Calvin University, is a short 15-minute ride from the Gerald R. Ford International Airport and just 7 miles from the I-196 / I-96 interchange.
From the Gerald R. Ford International Airport:
When exiting the airport, drive straight through the first traffic light. You will be on 44th Street going west for about 1 mile. Turn right going north on Broadmoor* for about 3 miles. Exit to the right (after the Bridge Walkway) for Calvin University and follow the signs to the Prince Conference Center. Approximate travel time: 15 minutes. *Note: Broadmoor Avenue turns into the East Beltline at 28th Street.
From the North (Cadillac and/or Big Rapids Area):
Take US-131 South to I-96. Take I-96 East toward Lansing to the East Beltline (Exit 38). The exit will immediately be after I-196 merges with I-96. Take a right at the traffic light and go south on the East Beltline for 3 miles (4 traffic lights). Exit to the right onto Calvin University's campus (just before the Bridge Walkway). Follow the signs to the Prince Conference Center.
From the North West (Muskegon Area):
Take I-96 East toward Lansing to the East Beltline (Exit 38). The exit will immediately be after I-196 merges with I-96. Take a right at the traffic light and go south on the East Beltline for 3 miles (4 traffic lights). Exit to the right onto Calvin University's campus (just before the Bridge Walkway). Follow the signs to the Prince Conference Center.
From The South (Kalamazoo/Battle Creek Area):
Take US-131 North to Burton Street (Exit 82). Go east on Burton Street about 4 miles to just before the East Beltline (10 traffic lights from the Expressway). You will see the Calvin University entrance sign on your left. Follow the signs to the Prince Conference Center.
From the East (Lansing/Detroit Area):
Take I-96 West to 28th Street (Exit 43a). Go west on 28th Street about 3 miles to the East Beltline. Take a right on the East Beltline and go north about a mile (4 traffic lights). Exit to the right (after the Bridge Walkway) for Calvin University and follow the signs to the Prince Conference Center.
Parking:
Parking is available right in front of the building.
Where can I stay if I am traveling from out of town?
A block of rooms has been reserved at the conference venue, Prince Conference Center, 1800 E Beltline Ave. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546, at a discounted rate of $119 + tax per night. This rate will be available Thursday night, October 6, 2022, Friday night, October 7, 2022, and Saturday night, October 8, 2022. The last day to make a hotel reservation is September 30, 2022.
To make a reservation:
- Go to princecc.com.
- Click on RESERVE A ROOM.
- Under the banner, click on the calendar and change the dates to the nights you are staying.
- Under the banner, click on RATE OPTIONS.
- Enter Code (ACHAMI) in the promotional/group window and click APPLY.
- The block dates and available room types will show up on the reservation page.
- Select the preferred room type and click BOOK IT to complete the reservation process.
Complimentary wi-fi, parking, and continental breakfast are included in the room rate.
