Congress passed the Congenital Heart Futures Act in 2010 and reauthorized the legislation in 2018. These efforts have expanded congenital heart disease (CHD) research, data collection, and CHD awareness efforts at the CDC. In this virtual briefing, we’ll hear from CDC health scientists and physician researchers on past research, current CHD initiatives, and what’s next for the growing population of adults with congenital heart disease!
