About the speaker: Dr. McConnell is a pediatric cardiologist with Sibley Heart Center Cardiology. He has cared for adults with congenital heart disease since the 1980s. He has helped found two ACHD clinics, and currently sees ACHD patients at one of the largest centers in the country, the Emory Adult Congenital Heart Center (EACH). He is the recipient of many teaching awards, and is a new proud grandfather.
