Congenital aortic stenosis is a disease of the aortic valve. It can be caused by a variety of conditions. One such cause is bicuspid aortic valve disease. The focus of this webinar is on the treatment of congenital aortic stenosis.  Are you familiar with the Ross procedure? It is a surgical technique where the patient’s native pulmonic valve replaces the diseased aortic valve. This webinar will center around the rationale for and outcomes of the Ross procedure. Meet the Presenter

Jill M. Steiner, MD, MS, FACC, is a member of the ACHA Medical Advisory Board.  She is a cardiologist and assistant professor at the University of Washington (UW) specializing in ACHD and palliative care research. She earned her medical degree at Penn State and completed her Internal Medicine residency at Georgetown University. She completed her cardiology fellowship training, a palliative care research fellowship, and a Master of Science in Epidemiology at UW.
