Eisenmenger syndrome represents a population of patients who have unrepaired congenital heart disease (CHD). They are unique to other Group 1 Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) patients in that Eisenmenger syndrome is a multisystem disorder.

About the Presenter
Dr. Anitra Romfh is an ACHD Board Certified cardiologist. She joined Stanford in 2013 and is now a clinical associate professor caring for adult survivors with congenital heart disease, managing patients with pulmonary hypertension in the cardiovascular critical care setting. Her training in combined internal medicine and pediatrics and background in chemical engineering and clinical research gives her a unique perspective on the care of these complex patients.
