The HealthWell Foundation is dedicated to improving access to care for America’s underinsured and to ensure that no patient goes without health care because they cannot afford it. When health insurance is not enough, they fill the gap by assisting with copays, premiums, deductibles and out-of-pocket expenses and provide financial assistance to help with prescription copays, health insurance premiums, deductibles and coinsurance, and travel costs.

The HealthWell Foundation recognizes the resulting undue financial hardship millions of Americans will face due to increased health insurance premiums that will occur with the expiration of the health care subsidies. Their new plan, The ACA Marketplace Insurance Premium Fund, will provide premium assistance to individuals who have obtained health care coverage through an Affordable Care Act (ACA) marketplace plan.
