The Children’s Heart Foundation Nevada is a nonprofit that offers two $3,000 scholarships for high school seniors about to enter a four-year college, an accredited trade school or a vocational school. The applicant must have been diagnosed with a congenital heart defect and must be currently under the care of a Nevada Pediatric Cardiologist and meet certain academic qualifications.

The 2026 SMART HEART SCHOLARSHIP application is open. Application and all other materials are to be received by Nevada Children’s Heart Foundation no later than Saturday, March 31st, 2026 at 11:59pm. Scholarship winners will be notified by Monday, April 27th, 2026.
