Uduak was born with tetralogy of Fallot in Nigeria. She has 3 children ages, 22, 19, and 16. Uduak has had 3 open-heart surgeries. In 2019, Uduak had her third surgery that included a left lung graft and other complications due to complications from previous surgeries. Uduak's personal and professional experience has provided her with the skills to have effective and meaningful patient-provider communications that improve patient care and experience.
