ACHA in Your Community

The Adult Congenital Heart Association is a national organization building a thriving grassroots community of patient advocates who connect adults with congenital heart disease (CHD) to one another and to ACHA’s programs, services, resources, and events. In this section, you can learn what’s going on in your local area and find out about opportunities to get involved, whether through a member of the ACHA staff, a Patient and Family Advisory Board (PFAB) member, or a leader for our Walk for 1 in 100.

South Central (TX, LA, AR, NM)

No one in your area? Be the change you wish to see in the world and join us! We’ll give you the tools you need to participate.

What ACHA Does in Your Region

ACHA offers a variety of programs, such as:
• opportunities to connect with other adults with CHD through local or virtual events.
• collaborations with local pediatric and adult CHD cardiologists.
• resources for health fairs and other local activities.
• in select areas, Walk for 1 in 100 events and regional conferences and clinic visits with ACHA staff.

Today, we have two ACHA staff regional specialists, in the Midwest and the South Central regions. In areas with ACHA staff, we can connect you directly to our resources and activities.
