Biking With Big Hearts

Whose words are better to lead off this post than Dr. Seuss? No one, I dare say. So many of his books are treasured favorites among children and adults alike. What is perhaps unexpected are the many life lessons found in his rhymes. I will share one such phrase that has become one of my favorites: “You’ll never be bored when you try something new. There’s really no limit to what you can do!”

It was this time last year when my family got the idea to have a bike ride fundraiser in honor of Jerry. You might remember a blog last year highlighting the journey of our family, Jerry’s hospitalization, and his passing. When we started to explore this event last year, we all knew we wanted to help support the Adult Congenital Heart Association, an organization Jerry believed in deeply, with our efforts.
