ACHA is happy to announce a new leadership role, Senior Ambassador, within the Heart to Heart program. Nominations for this newly developed role were accepted through April 15. Our new ACHA Senior Heart to Heart Ambassadors are: Cassandra B. (Mississippi), Laura H. (Minnesota), John L. (Pennsylvania), Lena M. (Illinois) and Ken W. (Washington, DC). Please help us congratulate them and wish them all the best in their new role.

A Heart to Heart Senior Ambassador is an Ambassador who has successfully served in their current role for at least two years. Senior Ambassadors are interested in providing support, guidance, education and resources to other ambassadors and local CHD programs. The Heart to Heart Senior Ambassador is an individual who must be able to serve as a positive role model, offering guidance and support, and must be comfortable in a mentorship role to those ambassadors assigned to him or her in conjunction with the ACHA Ambassador Program staff. The Senior Ambassador will also serve as a liaison to local and regional clinics, ensuring the physical delivery of ACHA materials and message in an effort to continue to build community affiliations and awareness.
