About the webinar: Are you aware of the most recent recommendations by the American Heart Association about who should take antibiotics for dental visits? Are you confused by them? If so, you need to attend this webinar. Disty Pearson, PA-C, will tell you why the dental guidelines changed and what you, as an adult with congenital heart disease, can do to maintain excellent oral health and why this is an important part of your care as a ACHD patient. You won’t want to miss this one!

About the speaker: Disty Pearson, PA-C, is the senior physician assistant with the Boston Adult Congenital Heart and Pulmonary Hypertension Service at Boston Children’s Hospital and the Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She has been a member of the ACHA Medical Advisory Board from its beginning and worked with adults with congenital heart disease for the past 31 years. Disty has just returned from the Third Physician Assistant Leadership Oral Health Summit and she is particularly interested in the oral health practices of patients with congenital heart disease and how to maximize them.
