Social Security Disability and the Compassionate Allowance Program in the Adult Congenital Heart Community

When: Wednesday, June 20, 2012, 12-1 p.m. EDT

About: Are you an adult congenital heart patient who has applied or has considered applying for social security disability? Do you have questions about the difference in Social Security Disability (SSDI) and Social Security Insurance (SSI)? Have you been denied SSDI and wondered why? Are you one of the seven CHD diagnoses added to the Compassionate Allowance Initiative (CAL) initiative in July 2011? Do you wonder if your CHD is on the CAL list and what that means? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you won’t want to miss this webinar.

If you have general questions you would like answered by the speaker during the webinar, please submit them to h2h@achaheart.org. The speaker will not be able to answer questions related to your specific situation. However, someone at ACHA will be happy to get back to you after the webinar in regards to those questions.
