Director's Description
Emory is the only ACHD program in Georgia. They follow more than 3000 CHD patients, conduct more than 2500 clinic visits yearly, and perform approximately 100 ACHD surgeons yearly. Emory has a multidisciplinary management team that includes both adult and pediatric cardiologists, congenital cardiac surgeons, electrophysiologist, interventiaonal cardiolopgists, nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers and echocardiographers. The team also works woth collaborative partners who have a special interest and expertise in managing adults with congenital heart defects from a range of other specialties.
