Director's Description
Dr Madan, the director the ACHD program is one of approximately 60 cardiologists who have received formal training and has expertise in ACHD. We follow a patient centric approach and try to pre-plan and obtain all pertinent investigations and consultations in a single day or in as few visits as possible so as to minimize discomfort to our patients. All specialities including the largest heart transplant program on the East coast is available on site for advanced therapeutics and management. We encourage our patients to take charge of their health care and their medical records. Each patient receives a comprehensive detailed note detailing their history and recommendations for care soon after their initial visit. We collaborate with patients' community cardiologists and primary care providers to optimize ACHD care. We strive to provide the patients same day appointments or their first preference date of visit.
