Director's Description
Founded in 1982 by Dr. Kenneth R. Bloom (now retired), Pediatric Cardiology Associates has grown from a single physician practice to a group practice of nine pediatric cardiologists. Our core team of Dr. Camila Londono Obregon, Dr. Teresa Hospers, and Dr. David Brennen is invested in our Young Adult Transitional Care Program and Adult Congenital Heart Disease Program. We are dedicated to providing personalized, lifelong care for adult patients with congenital heart disease in San Antonio and south central Texas. We work as an interdisciplinary team to include pediatric and adult cardiologists, surgeons, anesthesiologists, radiologists, and nurses in offering a medical home for adult patients along the entire spectrum of congenital heart disease. Placing great emphasis on caring for patients in a way that recognizes their unique needs, our team guides them through every aspect of care from the initial visit and review of prior history and records through diagnostic and interventional procedures, while focusing on continuity of care and long-term follow-up.
