Director's Description
This program was established in 1988 as transfer clinic for patients from various areas of our large province for follow-up as they turn 18. Not all patients are seen through this clinic. Some cardiologists elect to see their own patients in FU. General referrals from Pediatrics come directly to clinic or any pt from across Canada being followed at other CACH Network Clinics can be referred for follow-up. This works nicely. We are a small group so we don't have the luxury of the bigger centers. Space inside the hospital allows for FU of complex cases only or those from afar.
