The ACHA Nominating Committee recruits candidates for consideration for the ACHA Board of Directors. ACHA is currently seeking candidates who can contribute significant professional and personal skills to the growth of our organization. This year we are especially looking for candidates with experience in Marketing and Public Relations, Finance and Fundraising. Ideal candidates will have previous experience serving on a nonprofit board. Board service requires members to designate at least 12 hours a month for ACHA work, to participate in monthly phone meetings and to attend an annual Board retreat. All Board members are expected to participate in fundraising. ACHA encourages Board participation from individuals with CHD, family members of CHD patients, and anyone who is passionately committed to helping the CHD community.
