Levels of Membership
Welcome to the Adult Congenital Heart Association (ACHA)! We hope our newly updated website will enhance how we communicate with one another and share resources and information. Please join us as we work to improve the quality of life and extend the lives of adults with congenital heart defects through education, outreach, advocacy, and promotion of research.
When you register on the ACHA website, you will receive a basic membership. Basic membership is free and includes access to our online resources, such as the Message Board, Clinic Directory, and online Personal Health Passport. If desired, you are eligible to receive information about ACHA activities and events as well as introductory copies of ACHA's Heart Matters newsletter.
Paid membership, which is offered at three levels for non-medical professionals and two levels for medical professionals, supports ACHA's efforts throughout 2007, including National Congenital Heart Disease Lobby Day, ACHA's Health Passport Campaign, conferences, and many other education and outreach initiatives and educational programs.
Full membership
$35.00 per year: access ACHA's online resources, information about and discounts to ACHA events and activities; a personal web profile on ACHA's Personal Stories page; plus a full year's subscription to ACHA's newsletter, Heart Matters. If you cannot afford $35, ACHA offers a "pay what you can" option.
Supporting membership
$50.00 per year: access ACHA's online resources, information about and discounts (for all family members) to ACHA events and activities; two personal web profiles on ACHA's Personal Stories page; special "thanks"; plus a full year's subscription to ACHA's newsletter, Heart Matters.
Sustaining membership
$100.00 per year: access ACHA's online resources, information about and discounts (for all family members) to ACHA events and activities; three personal web profiles on ACHA's Personal Stories page; an ACHA lapel pin; special "thanks"; plus a full year's subscription to ACHA's newsletter, Heart Matters.
Professional-in-training membership
$35.00 per year: access ACHA's online resources, information about and discounts to ACHA events and activities; plus a full year's subscription to ACHA's newsletter, Heart Matters.
Professional membership
$60.00 per year: access ACHA's online resources, information about and discounts to ACHA events and activities; multiple copies of ACHA publications sent quarterly with the publication of Heart Matters (as requested); plus a full year's subscription to ACHA's newsletter, Heart Matters.
