Host a Third Party Fundraising Event
Events planned by community groups and individuals are a vital source of funds for the Adult Congenital Heart Association.
Your generosity can help ACHA continue our mission to improve the quality of life and extend the lives of adults with congenital heart defects through education, outreach, advocacy, and promotion of research.
Third Party Fundraising can be as simple as a birthday wish campaign using social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter, or more elaborate like a cocktail reception and silent auction. If you are interested in hosting a special event that results in financial contribution to the ACHA, please follow the steps below to get started.
Two Easy Steps:
- Review our Third Party Event Guidelines
- Complete our Fundraising Event Application
Remember:
Please submit your application at least 6 weeks in advance of your event.
Once we receive your application, we will evaluate your event proposal for its appropriateness and benefit to ACHA.
We ask that you allow 2-3 business days for your application to be reviewed by our development staff. Once a decision is reached, we will contact you directly.
If you have any questions, please contact Jessica Phelan, Development Manager, at 215-849-1260, or by email at jphelan@achaheart.org.
Not feeling very creative, but still interested in raising money?
Start with one of our ready-to-go “Fundraiser in a Box” kits. This option will provide you with the tools you need to host a fun and successful fundraising event. Contact Director of Development and Communications Jessica Phelan at 215-849-1260 or by email at jphelan@achaheart.org to request a kit.
Start an Online Personal Appeal Campaign!
Are you part of the 79% of Americans who would prefer to have a charitable donation made in your honor than receive a gift you likely won’t use? Make it known! With easy-to-use online tools like Crowdrise, Razoo, and Facebook Causes you can quickly and easily share, post, and tweet your personal appeal. Share your story, make it personal, and remind your network of friends and family why a donation made to ACHA is important in the lives of those living with congenital heart disease, and most importantly, to you!
