2014 7th National Conference

Thank you to our 500+ attendees for joining us in Chicago!

As was the case for many of our 500+ attendees, the recent 7th ACHA National Conference in Chicago from September 5-7 was my first ACHA conference. For me, it provided a revealing insight as to what makes ACHA such a special organization. Patients, family members, medical professionals, the ACHA Board of Directors, Medical Advisory Board and staff all came together to learn about the latest advances in the care and treatment for congenital heart disease. Thank you to everyone who participated.

But perhaps more importantly, we collectively came away with the knowledge that we are all working passionately towards the same goal–improving the lives of individuals living with congenital heart disease. The energy, spirit, and commitment of all who were in attendance were clear and ever-present. In short, this was an awe-inspiring experience that I will always appreciate and never forget.

Sincerely,

Glenn R. Tringali
ACHA National Executive Director
