Program Accreditation Working Group – Chair: William Davidson, Jr., MD
The Program Accreditation Working Group seeks to establish a transparent, equitable, practical, patient- and data-driven accreditation process which fosters the creation and perpetuation of high quality ACHD programs. ACHA will identify key training, services, and skills necessary at a regional ACHD program and establish a credentialing system for ACHD programs.
Goals:
- To provide high quality ACHD patient care.
- To encourage creation, growth and improvement of ACHD programs.
- To encourage regional networking between larger and smaller ACHD programs.
- To move from self-reporting to objective accreditation.
